Why choose Square Mile Meats?

We are a family owned business with a passion for agriculture and providing the consumer with the finest meat. We pride ourselves on providing quality in every box. There is a guarantee of consistency as it comes from a single origin (our farm!) and hence we can tell you exactly what the animals have eaten and how they have been treated along the way. Plus, the added benefit is that it is absolutely delicious!!

When should we expect our delivery?

We are consistently updating our website and social media channels with the next delivery date.  We only process according to the amount of orders received to ensure that you get the freshest and finest meat. Currently we are delivering at the start of every month. Please don’t hesitate to contact us prior to ordering if this does not quite suit your schedule and we will try to work with you wherever possible.

Where do you deliver?

There are several ways in which you can get your Square Mile box!

  • We currently deliver free to Pakenham, Berwick, Garfield, Narre Warren, Warragul, Bass and Surrounding areas.
  • We currently deliver to Melbourne and surrounding areas but this may incur a small shipping fee of maximum $10.

Collect your order from our Farmer's Market stall
  • Square Mile Meats is an accredited stall holder with the Victorian Farmers Markets Association. We are currently attending the following:

Do I need to be home for my delivery?

Yes, we operate under strict Primesafe regulations and as such cannot leave your box on your doorstep, unfortunately. The good news is we are farmers and as such are happy to get up early and deliver it to you before you leave for work or in the afternoon/early evening. Basically, we are happy to work in with you and can arrange a convenient drop off point such as workplace, school pick up etc. Just let us know as we are flexible and accommodating.

What is the advantage of buying in 10kg packs?

You get a premium product for a fraction of the price. You get the same beautiful, tasty meat but you pay less for it – Win Win. The larger packs are ideal for the busy family who want to reduce the amount of trips they do to the shops every week and enjoy the certainty of knowing there is something delicious in the freezer to grab out for dinner. How long will my meat keep refrigerated if I don’t freeze it?

We process and package your meat according to the amount of orders we receive. As such your delivery is as fresh as possible allowing you to have the maximum amount of time to store the product however you like. Your meat is cryovacced and delivered chilled and fresh and will have a fridge life of approximately 2-3 weeks (meat should be monitored throughout this time).   If not consumed in the first couple of weeks we recommend putting it in the freezer where is can be stored for approximately 12 months.  The sausages and rissoles are unable to be cryovaaced and as such do not have the same shelf life.

Can I make one off orders when it suits me?

Yes, of course you can! Orders can be made at any time that suits you but please keep in mind that there can be an approximate two week window between ordering and receiving your delivery.

Can I choose what’s in my pack?

Absolutely!  We have a custom order section in our shop where you can chose exactly what you would like. Please keep in mind however this is subject to availability. Square Mile Meats are always looking to improve and as such would love to hear any feedback you have or any ideas that you think would make your experience with us even better!

How and when do I get charged?

You will be charged the total amount via PayPal at the final stage of placing your order online. We will send you an email to confirm that your order has been processed with your receipt attached.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
